I'll tell you in the car...*looks at Ashley's stepfather again*You'll be sorry! *Leaves with Ashley* *they're in the car and Ashley is thinking of a good time to ask her mom* Ashley's mom:Listen, Ashley I'm so sorry you had to go home to that! Ashley:It's okay, why were you guys fighting? Did I do anything wrong? Ashley's mom:No honey, it's your stepfather....this is not easy for me to say this, but...*takes deep breaths* your step father is trying to find a way to stop you from hanging out with Luci and Adam! And me and Luci's mother is trying to convince him that this whole thing he's doing is a load of crap! Ashley:He can't do that!!! That is not cool! why? *looks at her mother* mother:because he has this weird thing against gay people and that word love on Luci's arm, kinda concerns him..but, if you ask me Adam is a nice, sweet, cute boy and I don't care if he's gay, and that word Love on her arm doesn't mean anything really, at least she likes the word love in the first place. *puts her hand on Ashley's shoulder* It's okay sweetheart we'll fix this! just wait and see! your step father is being an idiot he can't see how happy you are like I can *smiles* Ashley:Thank you mom! I'll remember that when I go to school tomarrow!*smiles* *next day at school Ashley runs to Adam, Luci,and Kris* Adam:Hi Ashley! Ashley:Hey you guys! Luci:Hey we all heard what's going on with your stepdad, how dumb is that?! Kris:It's a load of crap!
