A Saviour is born!
The Lord Jesus Christ was born one night in Bethlehem, the city of David. Mary wrapped Him in 'swaddling' clothes, and laid Him in the manger of the stable where He was born. Out on the hills of Bethlehem the shepherds saw a bright light, and an angel of God announced the birth of the promised Messiah, His only begotten Son. "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day, in the city of David, a SAVIOUR which is Christ the LORD".....Then a multitude of heavenly angels sang and praised God..... "GLORY to GOD in the highest, and on earth PEACE, GOODWILL toward men." ..."And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child." LUKE 2:6-17.
