Resurrection Sunday!
The crucifixion was over, God's blood had been shed as payment for mankind's sin, and Jesus' sinless body had lain dead for 3 days. Very early Sunday morning before it was light the huge tombstone (up to 5 tonnes) was thrown away by supernatual power, NOT to let Christ out, but to SHOW HE WAS RISEN ALREADY! His glorified body was not bound by earthly materials any more, and the scripture records several times that He just passed through walls and appeared before His disciples. Two heavenly angels in white stayed in or very near the entrance to the tomb, to show the women who came to enbalm the Lord's body that He was not there! For HE WAS RISEN! He had conquered sin, Satan, death and hell, and so these could not hold Him in death anymore!........PRAISE GOD FOR HIS UNSPEAKABLE GIFT TO US, by dying in our/my place, for our/my sin! HOW INDESCRIBABLE IS HIS ETERNAL AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TOWARD US!! I urge you most earnestly to search the scriptures to see that what I've written is the truth, and to choose His gift of salvation, which is given freely to those who repent (have a 180degree turn/change of mind) and believe that He has paid the full price for our salvation. ..........6/4/12.
