Memento

I found this Blingee while cleaning out my attic, inside an old weathered chest that smelled of cedar shavings. The chest also contained a stack of carefully folded linens and a faded photograph of my grandparents with their kids at that old camping spot by the lake. I went camping at that spot when I was a kid, too- It must have left an impression on Mom and Dad. I could still recognize it in spite of the ravages of time. So in a way, that photo was my memory as much as it was my parents' and grandparents. Uncle Drew had those glasses on that were everywhere in the 70s.
