Gone Fishing Joyful226

Meggie and little Johnny have gone fishing on this beautiful spring day a long time ago. Meggie reads in her book. Oh how she loves to read! Johnny is about to catch a fish! Michael is on the old stone bridge doing things little boys and even sometimes little girls do, and that is climb up on the bridge to walk across it to the other side and he will join his bother Johnny and friend Meggie. Be careful Mikey don't fall in. Of course it isn't all that far down if he does and he is a good little swimmer. But Mamma might not be pleased with him if he got all wet just before supper time. Thus off our boy goes to see Johnny and Meggie. They won't overly care if "his tag along" little brother joins them. You see it is getting close to supper time and Johnny and Michael's Mother wants Mikey to tell them all it is time to come in now. But Johnny about has his fish so wants to wait until he reels it in. Then again he hates to say good night to his sweet friend Meggie, but then again there is always tomorrow. Wishing all my friends a happy relaxing day filled with sweet memories of by-gone days of youth and those magic days. by Connie Hull
