A Cinderella Story ~ My Passion

Cinderella was seized by animal control from her owner. She was 3 years old, had lived all her neglected life on a short chain outside a trailer, and occasionally thrown food. Her leg which had been broken for TWO years, had atrophied (frozen) into a painful bent shape. There were open sores down to the bone on it. She was terrified of people, especially men. She was very protective of her leg and was fear aggressive to strange dogs. She was rescued and placed with us to foster. With lots of time, patience, love, good food, the best vet care, and the help of our own dogs, she blossomed. Her leg was amputated as it could not be saved. She was so happy and relieved not to have to worry over it. She was adopted by a wonderful family, has a little girl, and 2 lab fur sisters. She goes on hikes, swims, digs for moles, plays tug o war, and does everything a normal happy lab likes to do. She does not allow being a tripod to hold her back. She is a happy, healthy, beautiful, intelligent, and very loved girl. The moral of this story? 1) Stop animal cruelty, if you see it report it! Do something please! 2) Adopt don't shop. If you can't adopt a shelter animal, foster one or more. There are many rescues with different needs, and one will fit your lifestyle. If you can not foster, donate to rescues/shelters. If you can not donate, volunteer your time. If you cant volunteer, then share animals in need on social media, with co-workers/friends/family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. Please help them get it.
