I guess you are right, just leave them whole. I had to literally move the house in the one I did for that challenge and then clone the clouds and build the roof on one side.... to make it a square lol. I was crying the entire time! Hahaha.

I do understand what you are saying. :D I just lasso whatever I want to make semi-transparent then use the refine edge and select a feather till I get the result I want. I'll give that a try, I usually just use feather or gaussian blur, it has the same effect almost as the eraser. I usually just use the lasso tool and dot around the image I want so I have crisp lines. But with those houses the entire picture is sooo fabulous :D.

I LOVE this one. Wow.... Yes, you got it right and PERFECT! That would be transparent because there's too much detail around the houses and I wouldn't want to lose most of it, so I can't see how to do those. :D
