Let's take the time to find out why T-Pain named his second album Epiphany. He named his second album Epiphany, because an epiphany happened to him. It was when he was eighteen. It was shortly after he had made a remix of Akon's hit song, "Locked Up", and titled it, "I'm Fucked Up". He wasn't making enough money by selling his CDs on the street. He needed a job. He went to McDonald's to fill out an application. While he was filling out the application, his phone kept ringing. At first, T-Pain didn't pick up the phone. Well, it just kept ringing and ringing. T-Pain finally answered the phone. It was a phone call from Akon. He told T-Pain that he liked "I'm Fucked Up", then he told T-Pain he would sign him up to his Konvict Muzik recording label. Just like the title of T-Pain's second album, it was an epiphany that had happened to T-Pain. T-Pain was very happy to get a recording contract. He had a wonderful job! He really deserved the contract. After all his hard work, wonderful things had happened.
