This Is A MUST READ For ALL Girls & Women!!

Endometriosis is a REAL disease which does affect over 5 million girls & women in the United States! The first documented case was back in 1860. Endometriosis affects teenagers as well as older women. Endometriosis is when the endometrium tissue starts attaching itself to the uterus, ovaries and if left untreated, it can spread to your intestines, heart, other organs and in very rare cases, it can go to the brain. Girls & women with this disease are at a higher risk for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, melanoma, lymphoma, non-hodgkin's lymphoma and other serious cancers. Unfortuately, at this time they do not have a blood test to check for endometriosis. Endometriosis is found by doing a laparoscopy. Symptoms are extreme pain just before & during menstrating. Usually this pain is located in the lower abdomen & possibly lower back. For you women that do have it, you know that this pain can be worse than labor pains. For you young girls out there....IT IS NOT NORMAL TO HAVE EXTREME PAIN DURING YOUR CYCLE!!! If you're throwing up from the pain or you can't do ANYTHING because the pain is so bad then you REALLY NEED to get checked out! Do NOT let this go untreated! Having endometriosis may cause infertility and not to mention, it could lead to a much more serious problem....CANCER!! Do NOT let the doctors dismiss you as a whiny woman having a painful cycle!!
