Sisters "The Letter" by Connie

Sisters "The Letter" by Connie
This picture is a colored pencil drawing I did of my Great Aunt Lillian (Left) and her sister my Grandma (right) I named it the letter because it looks like one sister is reading to her sister some bad news from a boyfriend perhaps. As the other sister has her eyes closed imagining the sadness. I took it from a from a photograph and that is what they looked like. The photo was taken in 1904. These two in reality were married on June 15 1910 in a double wedding ceremony. Below on the frame tells a little story of always sisters they both loved tea, were from the age of chivalry and pearls for enduring love of family and caring. And the fact they grew up together from Children to adults. And the fact that one did like pink (my grandma) and her sister liked blue the best. OR at least that is what they usually had them ware as children.
