Exploited!!!!! Violated!!!!!!
From: askovc@ncjrs.org <askovc@ncjrs.org> Subject: Re: Cyber Stalking and Cyber Crime Can Only Be Done By Professionals Date: Monday, September 21, 2009, 6:37 PM Thank you for your message to the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). Stalking is a terrifying and dangerous crime. We are very sorry that you have endured so much emotional pain, financial trouble, and fear of physical injury because of the actions of a stalker. We hope that soon you can live again without the constant threat of harm. If at any time you feel that you are in immediate danger, we strongly urge you to call your local police department's emergency number (911) to report any incident of stalking. If you feel you need protection, and you have not done so already, you should consider filing for a protective order, which can be obtained by calling your local district attorney or prosecutor's office. A restraining or stay-away order is a legal protection that prohibits the offender from contacting you or interfering with your activities or mobility. If the stalker continues to harass or threaten you, this behavior is punishable by law. Under the Federal Violence Against Women Act, jurisdictions must give full faith and credit to valid orders of protection issued by other jurisdictions. Full faith and credit is a legal term that means jurisdictions must honor and enforce orders issued by courts in other jurisdictions. This can enable you to call on law enforcement officers and the courts to enforce their orders of protection across state lines. You may be interested in a publication from the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) titled, "Safety Plan Guidelines." It provides specific steps to help protect against stalking. It can be located on the Internet at http://www.ncvc.org/src/main.aspx?dbID=DB_Safety_Plan_GuideLines333. For additional information or assistance you may want to contact NCVC's Stalking Resource Center at 800-FYI-CALL or visit their Web site at http://www.ncvc.org/src/Main.aspx. All states receive Federal funds from OVC to help support local victim assistance programs and compensation programs. There are resources in your immediate area that offer services for stalking victims. Information on assistance in your local area can be located on OVC's Web site at http://www.ovc.gov/help/links.htm. In addition, you may be eligible for crime victim compensation benefits, including reimbursement for medical services, mental health counseling, lost wages, and other costs incurred as a result of the crime. A listing of State compensation programs can be obtained on OVC's Web site at http://www.ovc.gov/help/progdir.htm. Another source of help is your local victim/witness assistance program. You may contact the National Center for Victims of Crime at 800-FYI-CALL or the National Organization for Victim Assistance at 800-TRY-NOVA for a referral in your area. Many victims of crime file a civil suit against their offender or a third party to try to recover financial losses resulting from a crime. This is different from a criminal case that the state prosecutes to determine guilt. Further information can be obtained by contacting the National Crime Victim Bar Association on the Internet at http://www.victimbar.org. Let us suggest some additional resources that you may find helpful. Many survivors receive support and encouragement by meeting and talking with other survivors. The Pentagon admitted that they would engage in psychological warfare and cyber attacks on 'enemy' Internet websites in an attempt to shut them down. The fact that the NSA surveillance program spied on 5,000 Americans tells us that the enemy is the alternative media and that it will be targeted for elimination. Google has been ordered to turn over information about its users by a judge to the US government.

I just keep saying, hes just human. Im not happy at all with what he has been doing. So far I see that he cares for big corporations that so happen to have american workers (so two sided) and he speaks egyptian.) ..well what I mean is the little that is on the scale of what he has done that is GOOD is not outweighing the problems and issues that are so heavy.. and yet he is not addressing them. What of Real ID? What of the DHS memo? DHS lexicon? ..on and on.
When will the patriot act end?!

The White House is collecting and storing comments and videos placed on its social-networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube without notifying or asking the consent of the site users, a failure that appears to run counter to President Obama’s promise of a transparent government and his pledge to protect privacy on the Internet.
