Tale of the tale of woe:
Gilly finds a locket in an old house
in Neovia. Knowing Neovia was somehow
cursed and longing to know the tale of
the locket owner, she walks around a
deserted fairground, asking the few people
there of it, who know nothing.
Gilly soon happens upon an old shack and
there encounters Sophie, a swamp witch
who grabs the locket away from her and
shoos her into the cold.
Gilly suddenly finds herself in a cave,
and is chased by some kind of monster.
She sets a trap with rotten food, a chair,
a mirror, and a lamp. The creature badly
hurts himself in her trap. He turns out to
be nothing more than a gelert, and Gilly
feels bad for hurting him, so she stays a
while. Suddenly the gelert jumps up and
chases her again! She runs to Sophie's
shack and bangs on her door.
Sophie opens the door and screams at her
to get away, but then she sees the gelert...
Turns out the gelert was Sophie's brother,
Bruno. He had been mutated by a swindler
named Krawley.
To hear the rest of the story, I suggest you
read the Tale of Woe plot comics! They're really
interesting and it's a great story!
