AWARENESS DAY JUNE 6, 2009!

release butterflies, study their lifecycle:
The beauty of the Butterfly depends on us.
To make the public more aware of butterflies and their importance as pollinators and their place in nature, the AFB announces June 6, 2009 as National Butterfly Awareness Day. The AFB believes that by the creation of a national day to help raise peoples’ awareness of butterflies, this insect will benefit as well as humanity.

Butterflies have always had a special meaning to me and my Mom and late sis! On the day of my sister's funeral which was oct we were almost to the gravesite and out of nowhere came a big bunch of butterflies as we drove through them I felt it was a "sign" from God and my sis that everything was fine and she was with her maker.
