Outsiders the movie was released on March 25, 1983 The movie is based on S.E.Hintons book: the outsiders The book, The Outsiders came out in 1965, Ponyboy, Dallas, Two-Bit, Johnny, Sodapop, Darry, Steve, any many more of us are greasers.WE greasers are more poorer than those snobs the Socs. They get whatever they want, and they jump us. Anyways, were called Greasers because we slick our hair back with grease.
