Hey there, I'm Elina, but, my friends call my Lina ^__^. The first book of BTL series is exactly as the title says, Twisted Love. It's pretty much getting to know the characters and the relationships that the characters have between each other. For example, Mark and I's unrequited love for each other. The hatred he has for his brother after the "incident". Don't even get me started on the crap that the Cursed Knights (bad guys) try to pull. Then you have the typical 16 year old teenage school drama, just add death, blood, fangs, magic and fluffy tails and you'll be set.
Tainted Blood focuses more the family bonds between the characters, like finding out my brother has a daughter with one of my friends cousins and Nathan finding out about his family lineage (as twisted as that might be) and also reconciliation between families. Something big happens to Mark that changes how his future ends, and my damned cousin is being a bitch and is doing her usual thing again. So you throw these ingredients into a blender: fangs, blood, fluffy tails, love, lust, marriage, betrayal, death, revival and war, and Tainted Blood is what you will get.
In Red Tears is set a year after B2 and it starts off three people missing and three people returning, but not the same people. Mark returns and I find out he's..... a father. WTH??? he had a daughter with her? I die in the first chapter but come back as some magical creature then get reincarnated just to die again if a deal isn't made? What kind of twisted logic is that? anyway we are still fighting the war with the humans, which in the end find out are working for the syndicate back home, in Japan. Great! Now we have to fly there and take out the other syndicates before we take out Death? Now let me get this straight. My cousin is a friend of Mark's, is Bi-curious and in-love with me? What's gotten me more intruigued (hehe the best part *yaoi fangirl*) two of my friends are gay! I meet my father who is suppose to be dead, have new family members, work as waitress, go to school, again, and have to sing in band. This is all too much for me. I'm going on vacation! Steph, I'm coming to Spain with you! Adios Amigos!
