I'M LEGALLY BLIND,I have an eye disease called Retinitis pigmentosa, a common cause of blindness, is a hereditary disease affecting 1.2 million people worldwide.
There is no present cure for RP, there is a great possibility for a cure in the future. Retinal transplants, artificial retinal transplants, and stem cells are a few of the possibilities for a cure. 

I'm considered legally blind. 
I am 45 years old and I was diagnosed in 1985..
