hey guys i am writing a sotry to go with my blingee "christina's ghost". i need opinions and ideas to continue. i have 2 chapters (not finished yet!) so far...tell me what u think.
here is what i have so far:
christina's ghost
chapter 1
~*prolouge*~
A child. A child with long, straight dark hair; pale- white skin, shadows under her eyes. Her destiny I didn’t know.. But what I did know was the horror and despair in her eyes. Something was coming. Nothing a little girl would usually go through. Something worse. I could tell by her quaking hands, and the tears of fear spreading down her face like raindrops dropping down a windowpane during a thunderstorm. And one faint word managed to come from her small scared mouth, “Help”. I knew I could not help this child, even though I was frantic to keep her from danger. Hearing no response, the child let out a sob-like shriek and turned away.
chapter 2
~*cold*~
Christina sauntered down the old cobblestone path, and the only sound around her was the lonely, fearful sobs she made. It was dark and rainy, so no one, even if there was anyone in the empty town, would be able to tell the difference of the tears streaking down her face between the dusty-like raindrops. The only life around her was the shrieking rats and the wet birds flying overhead.
Around the small 1800’s ghost town there was a dark, musky forest, practically black because of the dark, wet bark on the lank trees. The gray mist surrounding the trees made the forest look even more ghostly than it was. But Christina didn’t care; she had her own problems.
When Christina was younger, a terrible accident had happened. She was a wee child, around 2 years old, when her parents were robbed, beaten and killed. Christina was left alone in the dark with no one but her own soul to guide her. Ever since, she has been struggling and scarcely succeeding to take nourish herself. And the only thing she remembers is the faint, blurry memory of the last words her mother had spoken to her; “Don’t worry... nothing will ever happen to you. I will keep you safe even if it means to sacrifice my soul.” Those faint words haunt Christina now because the words were like a complete omission…a lie… a promise never fulfilled. Every time she cries, the words from her mother echo through her mind, and she feels unprotected…in complete danger. Complete danger because she knows that somebody is after her. Plotting evil moves to kill… forcing little Christina to live in complete darkness and fear.
