I'll be home for Christmas aka waiting for the train by Joyful226
The little child, Elizabeth, sat at the lonely train station waiting to board the train for home. She had been away at school and now Christmas break was here. She didn't know why she was sent away for she loved her old school but Momma and Daddy said it would make a lady out of her. She wasn't all that sure that she wanted to be a "Lady" if it meant being away from her beloved parents. But now she dreamed of them and their home at Christmas and what a wonderful day it would be. The conductor yelled "All Aboard" forcing Elizabeth out of her daydream and for a few moments into the real world. However, all the way home she thought of nothing, but being there and seeing her parents and the lovely tree and fire in the fireplace and all the love that was there. Soon the train slowly started chugging and slowly pulling out of the train station to Elizabeth's home. Merry Christmas my friends.. by Connie/Joyful226
