Hyuna almost feels like the korean Miley Cyrus at this point. People are trying to cancel her but tbh i don't think that'll affect her at all and she knows it. As for me? I'm not a stan of her anymore because I'm not into kpop, but its dissapointing.

That being said, it sucks that her, a feminist icon living in a truly sickening environment as Korea has the audacity to date a man that pasively participated in something like this.  How other way could people react? 

Now, this is the part where I'm supposed to bash Hyuna for choosing this, but tbh they had known each other before the Burning Sun scandal, they maybe even dated, Junhyung could have changed...

Time later Hyuna started dating another guy, former coworker and member of Beast (now Highlight): Junhyung, also known for being a standby in the scandal or the Burning Sun. 
Not only that, he was also late Goo Hara's ex, one of Hyuna's close friends

It was clear Dawn loved Hyuna to the point it was rumored he had proposed to her, but then out of nowhere they broke up. 

Idols would rather be forced to break the relationship or lie, even apologize to the public yet Hyuna had faced this toxic society and still continue with her career more successful than ever. I was glad for her.

By the time I had lost interst in kpop, but I found out Hyuna and her boyfriend had continued with their career under PSY's label and I felt glad for her. She had done something NO IDOL would have done. 

Later Hyuna and Dawn's relationship was known and Korean fans being the toxic little shits they are made a big deal of it causing both Hyuna and Dawn to be canned out of Cube.
