Celestial Show Set for New Years Eve at Sunset

A delightful display of planets and the moon will occur on New Year's Eve for anyone wishing to step outside and look up just after sunset. First, Venus, brightest of the stars will be visible in the sothwestern sky. Soon, Mercury and Jupiter will hug the south souhwestern sky, just where the sun had set.
