4464 days agoIt allow you have a shadow behind the rendered image. Now, if you noticed the neon stuff stamps have well GIMP can do that too. Go to "Alpha To Logo" & click Neon. (You can allow it to have a black shadow behind the Neon but I normally don't do that.) Alright, there's more you can do but im just gonna tell you one more thing: To make an image larger or smaller, click: "Image" & go to "Scale Image" & there you go. ^^ My arm hurts from writing all this xD.

4464 days agoNow, go to your "Toolbox" & click on the pink icon. (Which is the eraser.) Now, outline the picture you wanna render, once you do that go crazy & render out the whole backround, but not the image you want to render out. (Render means to take something out of like a BG or something.) Here's some extras I'll throw in (x "Filters" allows you to mess with the stamp, like in "Lights & Shadow" if you choose "Drop Shadow" [Make sure to click on the box not allowing it to shrink your rendered pic!

4464 days agoAlright, I'll try to explain this as simple as I can xD. This is how I render images: First you wanna click on "view" which is zoom in on your picture, makes rendering a whole lot easier. (Trust me. I made many mistakes not doing that & the picture ended up looking crappy.) Then, go to "Layer" & click on "Transparency" & click on "Add Alpha Channel" this allows you to transparent images so there's no backround behind them. ...
