MY BELOVED DODI DIED TODAY

[Created 3/22/09] When it rains it pours! First Calliope my albino budgie passes a couple weeks ago on 3/10 and now I wake up this morning (3/22/09) to find Dodi Li dead in her cage! No wonder Ishmael was making so much racket! (Ishmael is my albino cockatiel and now is going to be impossible to live with because he adored Dodi!) Dodi had hurt her foot on 3/8/09 (just 2 days before Calliope passed) and I took her to the vet who said it was broken but that it would knit back together just fine and that I needed to do physical therapy on her toes so they would not get too stiffened up and to take out all her perches to make her stay still on the cage floor (which I'd already done). So she was just fine yesterday 3/21 and now this morning....NOT! Dammitall! I feel so bad! And I never even made a blingee of her, so I had to do this one today. Sorry to be such a downer to everyone but I had to write about this. Her name "Dodi Li" means "my beloved" in Hebrew, and she certainly was MY BELOVED FIRST BIRD. REST IN PEACE, DODI LI.
