majic mirror tell us more

Ding, ding, the little bell just above the door chimed as two very pretty, yet darkly dressed friends walked into the little antique shop. The shy one Vera, the other with her face painted up and teal streaks through her hair was Tessa. The lady behind the counter looked up from her book, "good afternoon", greeting them pleasently. The two girls smiled and nodded as the women told them, "if you need any help just ask", and continued with her reading. The girls browsed around, as they came around to the back of the store both of them stopped and began to stare at this one piece. A small silver gilded sort of mirror. Yet when they looked into it they could not see themselves. What should have been a reflection was nothing more then black onyx. Fasinated they took it to the cashier and asked, "how much?", the lady looked at them with one eyebrow raised and asked, "are you sure you want this?", in unison they both said, "yes!", the lady gave them a fair price and so they went on their way. When they got back to the house they ran straight up to Vera's room. Closing her door Tessa placed the mirror on the floor and they both continued eyeing it. "Mirror, mirror on the...floor who's the fairest of them all?", Tessa said smirking at Vera. But nothing happened as Vera picked it up and said, I can't imagin what this does or used for?", turning it in her hands she saw something poking out in the back like there was something hiden behind the board. Popping it out they she found a tattered piece of paper. She read the words, "come to me." Still nothing happened. Sighing she looked into the mirrir again and said, "come to me", in a more bored voice. Soon enough something did start happening like in the Snow White Story a face slowly stared appearing. Becoming much clearer both Tessa and Vera stared at a young girl probably around their age. The girl said, "you called", both Tessa and Vera looked at each other a small spark of fear and excitement in the faces. Vera asked, "who are you?", "I am you", she responded. Vera, confused asked, "are you a magic mirror?", she responded, "if you want me to be." Becoming fustrated Tessa took the mirror from her Vera and said, "what can you tell us about...well, us?", she answered, "you Tessa want to be more popular", Vera yanked the mirror from Tessa's hands and asked, "well, what about me?", the girl looked at her and said, "you want to be less afraid to speak to guys." Both Vera and Tessa smiled at each other and asked together, "anything else?", she said,"no, but I suspect you both want to be someone else and will do anything for it." They both nodded in delight, they couldn't believe this purchase could give them everything they wanted. ***THE NEXT DAY*** Waking up Vera felt marvelous like she could take on the world and wasn't afraid of anything. Making her way off to school before she went out the door she looked into her mirror and smiled, the thing was the person smiling vishesly back in the mirror was not really Vera. Mirror, mirror on the wall I'm the nastiest chick of them all. With one last look back at the silver gilded mirror, waved good by to Tessa and Vera.
